Advancing Interoperability in Oklahoma: TEFCA and MyHealth Access Network
Patricia Dysinger, MBA; Chief Executive Officer; MyHealth Access Network
Joe Walker, CISSP, MSIE, Senior VP Tech Services and Compliance; MyHealth Access Network
This session provides attendees with a strategic and practical update on the national interoperability landscape under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) and the role of MyHealth Access Network as Oklahoma’s state-designated Health Information Exchange (HIE). Participants will gain a clear understanding of how TEFCA is shaping a nationwide “network of networks” designed to support secure, standardized health information exchange across states and organizations and examine how MyHealth Access Network fits within the broader national exchange environment. We will also discuss HIE optimization,  exploring how real-time data exchange strengthens care coordination and advances value-based care initiatives.
