This presentation will provide physicians with a timely overview of current medical board developments and legal issues affecting medical practice, including board priorities, regulatory expectations, licensure considerations, professional accountability, litigation risks, documentation, patient communication, informed consent, scope of practice, and other liability concerns.
Using practical examples and risk-management strategies, the program will help physicians identify risk points, strengthen compliance, and support patient safety, quality care, and effective provider-patient relationships.
Target Audience
The educational design addresses the needs and issues of healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, healthcare administrators, and office practice managers.
